Design
Good lighting is an important element of any picture. Traditional reflector design was re-thought by HW Briese to improve light quality and efficiency. The Focus series of reflectors are geometrically contoured to give even illumination. Light is bounced from the parabola off a unique reflector coating. The resulting light is clean and brilliant and will bring the contour and form of a subject to life by simultaneous creation of highlight and shadow. The results will clearly speak from themselves
Function
Lighting kit needs to function well. A good f-stop is often a requirement whether you shoot 10 by 8 or digital. If you shoot Briese you will get your stop, helping to release your creativity from technical constraints.
