The flood is a small light source that provides even illumination over a wide area. It is useful in a studio for lighting a background or on location as a small source that can easily be concealed.
The Barn Doors can be used to cut the light or fix materials such as diffusion or colour.
Being a very small source the Flood produces defined shadows that can be used to interesting effect.
