Light quality and output is of fundamental importance to Briese.

At the heart of the Briese range is the Focus. The ‘Focus’ reflector is available six different diameters, given in centimeters by name.
A critical design element of this tool is the incorporation of an effective focus mechanism. HW Briese has achieved this without the addition of a lens system. The flash tube is on a moveable axis that can be positioned between the front to the rear of the parabola. A difference of up to 3.5 stops can be achieved between the two positions of spot and flood.
If the tube is pushed forward to the flood position the whole area of the reflector is put to work. Illumination produced is even and ditributed over a wide area. Pulling the tube into the rear spot position significantly increases the intensity toward the rear centre of the reflector. The light source is reduced in size and brilliant in light quality.
For speed and simplicity, diffusers and egg-crates fix directly on to front of the Focus.
Briese designers have engineered a practical series of generators.
Weight and size are kept to a minimum. Recycle times are unrivalled. Reliability is exceptional.
